SiteBrief/Documentation

SiteBrief Documentation

Everything you need to know about monitoring your clients' sites — how each feature works, when to use it, and what to do when something goes wrong.

💡
Tip:First time here? Start with Uptime monitoring — it covers the core concepts that apply to all other check types.

Quick start

Getting a site monitored takes under 2 minutes:

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Sites → Add site
  2. 2Paste the URL (or hostname for TCP/ping) and give it a name
  3. 3Choose the check type (HTTP is the default for websites)
  4. 4Set the check interval and optionally add your client's email for reports
  5. 5Save — SiteBrief starts checking immediately

After the first check you'll see uptime status, response time, SSL days remaining, and (if enabled) PageSpeed score. Alerts go out the moment a site goes down — and again when it recovers.
